Biography

Hello. This is my 11th year at Eagle Butte High School and working as a Guidance Counsellor/Teacher could not be anymore rewarding. In addition to counselling I also teach Physical Education 10 and am actively involved in coaching Badminton. I am also one of the Grad Advisors involved in organizing and coordinating the Grad formal ceremonies.

I have been married to my wife Penny for the past 5 years and we have a beautiful 4 year old boy named Lukas who keeps us very busy. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, golfing, working out, reading, following my favorite sports teams (GO RIDERS!!) and travelling.

I graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with degrees in Physical Education and Education. I spent a couple of years teaching in Saskatchewan before moving to Japan where I taught EFL and later became a teacher trainer/staff development coordinator.

In December of 2005 I completed my Master's of Education degree (with a focus in Counselling Psychology) from the University of Lethbridge.

EBHS is a fine institution with dedicated staff members and terrific students.
