Eagle Butte Selects New VP

Eagle Butte High School is excited to announce that Jason Duchscherer has accepted the position of Vice-Principal and will join the EBHS staff at the end of the school year.

Jason started his teaching career with Prairie Rose School Division in 1999 as a teacher at Oyen Public School (OPS).  In 2009, he moved into the principal position at OPS, later transferring to Schuler School in 2012 where he has been in the role of principal for the past 6 years.

“Jason has worked hard to build an exceptionally strong school community in Schuler,” says Eagle Butte Principal Mark Heinricks.  “We know he is committed to student success and building relationships and will be a great fit at EBHS.”

“Eagle Butte has an excellent reputation both in Prairie Rose and the Medicine Hat area,” says Duchscherer.  “Working at the high school level is a new experience for me, but I welcome the challenge and look forward to seeing many familiar former Schuler School student faces and collaborating with such a strong supportive staff.”

Jason Duchscherer will officially assume the role of vice- principal at the start of the 2018-19 school year.
