I was born in California but moved to Canada at a young age. I have been married to the same beautiful woman for 34 years and have two children. A 30 year old daughter who is working as a CSI with the RCMP and a 27 year old son who is working as a grade 3 teacher. I have taught for 31 years everything form grade 4 to grade 12, usually social studies or English, but have also taught Spanish, Foods, Phys Ed, Drama, and so much more. At present, and for the last several years, 75% of my job is as the Off-Campus Work Experience Director. Out of a school with only 450 students, I deal with far more than half the students every year in some aspect of earning off campus credits. This includes work experience credits (for most any job a student is doing), registered apprenticeships (RAP), Power Engineering, Petroleum Field Operations, Farm Green Certificates, special projects, health internships, and more. If you have any questions about the off-campus program, be sure to call myself or my administrative assistant, Donna Kirchner, at 403-528-1996 extension 2043.
